Danny Katz has been dealing in art since 1968, working in his father’s antique shop in Brighton where he developed his eye for quality through contact with dealers and collectors. His expertise grew through the London auction houses where his rigorous study and passion for collecting was born. Renowned for his connoisseurship and discerning eye, Danny has made many important discoveries and has placed major works in leading international collections and museums. Today, he is respected for both his deep knowledge and his broad interests including Ancient Art, Old Master Painting and Sculpture, Modern British and Islamic Art. The Daniel Katz Gallery is based at an elegant townhouse on 6 Hill Street, just off Berkeley Square.
