Purdy Hicks Gallery was established in 1995 and has continually supported both established and emerging international artists with a strong focus on painting, drawing and photography. Originally opened in East London, the gallery soon moved to Bankside, by Tate Modern, before relocating to South Kensington, where it has been based for the past ten years.
As well as exhibitions held in the Gallery, Purdy Hicks also participates in numerous international art fairs. Works by gallery artists can be found in major collections worldwide, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Tate, London; Centre Pompidou, Paris; Museum of Modern Art, New York; and The Getty, Los Angeles.
